10 Products Making My Life Better Right Now
I get asked a lot what products I am loving right now or what is making my life easier in this season of life so I thought I would put together a blog post (and podcast episode) to share some things I am loving right now!
Note: Some links are affiliate links. I appreciate it so much when you support me and my family when you use my links!
01. Lash Extensions
Why I love them:
~ Make me feel put together without having to do my makeup
~ I don’t have to worry about mascara residue – like the black rings under my eyes or flakes when it’s hot out
~ Going to get my fill every 2-3 weeks is an hour of relaxation built into my schedule
Here is where I go (in Tampa, FL) – I love it there! I get natural volume lashes.
02. My Kindle + Libby + Kindle Unlimited
Why I love them:
~ The Kindle makes it easy to read when I’m feeding Everly – I can’t hold a book when I’m doing that
~ Syncs up with my phone so I can read on the go
~ Libby: app to rent ebooks from your library for free – you just need a library card
~ Kindle Unlimited: $10 a month and then it’s like a library – you can download e-books to your Kindle but there isn’t a time limit – I think you can have 10 books out at a time
03. Vitality Biker Shorts
Why I love them:
~ Not too short
~ Compressive without making you feel like a can of busted biscuits
~ Super soft
~ Wear them to HIIT workouts and for weight lifting
04. Walli Phone Case
Why I love it:
~ The loop on the back makes it easy to hold when I am carrying a lot of things or taking photos, etc.
~ There’s a place to hold your cards, like a driver’s license and debit card.
~ It’s cute AND functional… who doesn’t love that — I have the “Chesnut Checks” one!
05. Airpod Max Headphones
Why I love them:
~ The noise canceling feature is everything. They help me zone in when I’m working because I’m not distracted by outside noises.
~ They’re actually really comfy. The ear pads are nice and thick and the headband part doesn’t dig into my head.
~ They’re really cute…is this important for a headphone? Maybe not to some people but it’s important to me, lol.
Here are also the silicone covers I got for mine!
06. Notion
Why I love it:
~ Notion is a freemium productivity and note-taking web application developed by Notion Labs Inc. It offers organizational tools including task management, project tracking, to-do lists, bookmarking, and more.
~ I use it to house all of my life lists
~ It basically replaced the notes app in my phone because it was getting chaotic in there, lol
FUN FACT: I have been working on making my Notion templates sellable sooooo we will be adding a Notion template section to the shop soon — eeeek! 👀
07. Soothing Spirulina Face Mask by Primally Pure
Why I love it:
~ It doesn’t smell weird — a lot of face masks I’ve tried smell so bad but this one smells nice!
~ It doesn’t harden on your skin — it stays malleable which I like.
~ My skin feels SO soft the morning after I use it.
08. Strawberry Vanilla Olipop
Why I love it:
~ It’s a good boost of fiber
~ It’s a fun evening drink or midday pick-me-up that isn’t caffeine or alcohol
09. 1st Phorm App
Why I love it:
~ I use it to track my macros and I love that the app has pictures of each food, your total macro count for the day up top – what you’ve had and what’s left, the macro count for each meal, and it’s so handy being able to scan in food with your camera (using barcodes)
~ There are workout plans available inside the app
~ You get paired up with a coach to help you with workouts and nutrition
10. Dry Brushing and Tongue Scraping
(More so habits but you need products for them so I am including them, lol)
The benefits:
DRY BRUSHING:
Dry brushing unclogs pores in the exfoliation process. It also helps detoxify your skin by increasing blood circulation and promoting lymph flow/drainage,” says Dr. Khetarpal. Also, by unclogging pores, it's easier for the body to sweat and eliminate toxins in your system.
TONGUE SCRAPING:
~ Fresher breath and honestly it’s just satisfying in a gross way, lol
~ Gut health: Because your mouth is the starting point of your gastrointestinal tract, gut health begins in the mouth. The idea of tongue scraping is to clear the build-up of bacteria or toxins that can cause oral disease while preventing them from moving down your GI tract and damaging gut health.
And that’s it - 10 products making my life better right now! Next week, we’ll be back to the more educational-style blog post but I hope you enjoyed this little sprinkle of lifestyle today!
