Over the last few months, I’ve been leaning into a handful of habits that have made a massive difference in how I show up for my day-to-day life. The best part? They’re all super simple to implement, so you can start incorporating them today!

01: Having a Designated Car Bag
Have you ever found yourself juggling a million things while trying to leave the house, only to leave half of it in the car and deal with a mess later? Same. That’s why I created a car bag, and let me tell you—it’s been a game-changer.
This habit is as simple as it sounds: I keep a canvas tote near my front door and use it to carry all the essentials to and from the car. My emotional support Kindle, Everly’s water cup, snacks, sunglasses—it all goes in the bag. When we get home, I carry it back inside, and no more random items are left scattered in the Jeep.

02: Actually Enjoying Your Skincare Routine

03: Having a “My Closet” Board on Pinterest
If getting dressed feels overwhelming or uninspiring, this habit is for you. I created Pinterest boards called "My Closet: Cool Weather" and "My Closet: Warm Weather" to take the guesswork out of outfit planning.
Here’s how it works:
I pin outfits I can recreate using clothes I already own.
When I’m stuck, I open the weather-appropriate board, pick a look, and get dressed in minutes.
This habit has made getting ready so much easier, and I actually look forward to putting on real clothes (instead of defaulting to workout gear all day).
04: Reading Over Your Vision Board in the Morning
I used to create a vision board every year and let it sit on my desk. It was pretty, but it wasn’t exactly doing its job. Now, I take two minutes every morning to read over my vision board, and it’s completely transformed how I approach my day.
By starting my day with my goals and values fresh in my mind, I naturally make decisions that align with them. It’s like reprogramming my subconscious to stay focused on what matters most.
If you’re a little skeptical, try it for a week! You might be surprised at how much clarity and intention this habit brings to your life.
05: Zhuzhing Up Your Work Start-Up Routine
As someone who works from home with a three-day workweek, I’ve had to get really intentional about how I start my workdays. A few months ago, I created a start-up routine that’s made a world of difference in my focus and productivity.
Here’s what it looks like:
Turn on my diffuser and say a quick prayer over my business.
Set up my walking pad and standing desk. I walk for 45–60 minutes while tackling my first big task of the day.
Put on my over-ear headphones and play a lofi playlist to lock in my focus.
Review my Focus 3 tasks and dive into my most important work first.
This routine takes just a few minutes to set up but sets the tone for a productive, intentional workday.
